Palestinians Apologize to Kuwait
I found this on Outside The Beltway.
Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas apologized to Kuwaitis on Sunday for Palestinian support of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein during the 1990-91 Gulf War, his latest gesture to mend fences with Arab nations offended by the late Yasser Arafat over the years.
Interesting that the Palestinians are trying to mend fences with other Arab nations especially given that not a single one has ever extended citizenship to a single Palestinian.
And, of course, Mr. Abbas wouldn't have dared even broach the subject had not a certain western nation, sometimes affectionately referred to as "The Great Satan", taken on itself the trouble of getting rid of Hussein in the first place.
